My family is forever thankful to the Canadian Blood Services and all the people that selflessly offered their blood and their time. Luis has already received multiple blood transfusions and I'm sure there will be more to come.

 

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month. Do something about it and act now. For Luis and the other families touched by cancer, I'm personally asking for help:

Please make an appointment to donate blood this September!

The time has come! Please call 1 888 2 DONATE (1-888-236-6283) and make an appointment to donate blood in honour of every young person that has been diagnosed with cancer.
Register your donation as part of the Gold Ribbon Campaign. Go to www.blood.ca/joinpartnersforlife, fill out the form with partner ID # GOLD013121 and click “Submit”. Or sign up over the phone.

Please book now, let's fill that clinic up every day during the month of September! For all of you who have donated in the past, thank you!  Do us a favour and bring someone in with you, the more donors,....the better! PLEASE CALL TODAY AND RESERVE A SPOT!!
 
We are asking donors to book an appointment between August 29 and September 30, 2012.  You can share this with your family, friends, colleagues across the country and they too can donate anytime during September and use the Gold Ribbon Campaign ID#GOLD013121.
 
Give the gift of life. It's such an easy way to help our kids stay strong through treatment. Please remember, a child with cancer can need up to 5 units of blood per week during treatment. Thank you everyone who has already signed up!
