Our first month at the Ronald McDonald House SWO (2012)

The Ronald McDonald House of Southwestern Ontario has been there for us since the first night we arrived in London and learned about Luis' cancer. Since then, we've spent dozens of nights there, starting with the first thirty days of Luis' illness, then down to weekly visits for about 8 months, then monthly, and now quarterly. This organization is amazing. Luis and I feel completely at home there every time we go. The food is good, the play areas are fun, the rooms are comfortable, the atmosphere is warm, and the people are kind and understanding. And can you believe in our beautiful country that they offer their service to families with ill children at just $10 a day?
